The full suite,
not a trial
Maestro Studio on your Mac, Maestro Vision on your headset, and every update as it lands.
Maestro is the immersive authoring suite for Apple Vision Pro. Compose spatial stories on a pro multi-track timeline on your Mac. Step inside and shape the scene with your hands on Vision Pro. Everything goes live on the headset the moment you save.
On the Mac, Maestro Studio works the way a cutting room does: a source monitor and a live 3D program view side by side, above a full-width, multi-track timeline. Every reveal, move, fade, video and sound in your scene is a clip you can drag, trim and rearrange, frame by frame.
On Vision Pro, your chapter isn't a preview. It's the editor. Look at an entity and pinch to move it. Summon a gizmo ring to rotate on a world axis. Keyframe a pose from where you're standing. The room is the canvas.
.chapterscript bundles entirely on-device, with undo, redo and recents.Keyframes live on the sequence: position, rotation and scale on every axis, plus opacity. Real tangent handles, per-key interpolation, and continuous Euler rotation that never flips. The same evaluator drives the Mac, the headset, and playback. What you author is what plays.
An embedded server publishes your chapter on the local network. Every ⌘S goes straight to the headset, and edits flow the other way too. Move an entity on Vision Pro and it lands in the Mac's undo stack as one clean entry.
Wrap a sequence in a 360° or 180° video sphere (mono, side-by-side, over-under or MV-HEVC) or a full USDZ environment.
Hold a step until the audience taps, looks at, walks up to, or grabs the thing you choose, or until a timeout passes. With an optional on-screen prompt.
Per-sequence presentation: fully immersive, mixed with the real room visible, or a plain window. Switch mid-story.
Drop in spheres, boxes, planes, 3D text and lights straight from the add menu. Block out a scene with no external modeling.
Organize scene assets and backdrops into folders, duplicate and re-target with a right-click, and keep big projects navigable.
Every timeline drag, inspector tweak and spatial edit is one clean undo entry, on the Mac and on the headset.
Local-first media on Vision Pro: picks land in the scene instantly, hash-matched and background-uploaded to the Mac with retry.
Playback gates pause the animation clock, not the story. Curves hold their pose and resume exactly where they left off.
Every action has a typed parameter form, plus a raw JSON escape hatch when you want to hand-tune the long tail.
Fold a run of related tracks into one named, collapsible row. A folded group still shows every clip in miniature, and grouping never changes timing.
File media into bins that are labels, never storage. Browse folders on your Mac without leaving the app, and an import sheet asks what each video should become.
Auditioning is real: playback is audible, scrubbing plays the moment under the playhead, and volume rides are keyframed per channel. The editor's master volume never ships.
Chapters save as ChapterScript, an open, documented directory bundle: one pretty-printed chapter.json plus your assets, manifested with SHA-256 hashes. Diff it, version it, generate it, play it anywhere the format is implemented.

chapter.json plus an assets/ folder. Copy it, zip it, ship it.The Maestro handbook covers every corner of the suite: tutorials, concepts, and a reference for every action, gate, channel and particle parameter.
From empty project to a gated, animated, immersive scene playing live on your Vision Pro. About twenty minutes.
Read → GuideTracks, derived clips, drag-to-add actions, retiming, trimming, snapping and gates. The whole editing surface.

Maestro isn't publicly available yet. Ahead of launch we're onboarding a small group of founding users: directors, museums, educators and studios who want to tell stories in immersive experiences outside the bounds of one video file.
Maestro Studio on your Mac, Maestro Vision on your headset, and every update as it lands.
Founding users talk to the people writing the code, and requests turn into builds.
Put finished chapters in front of real audiences before the tools are public.
Write to us, tell us who you are and what you want to make, and a human will read it.

Open source · Powers Maestro
Every chapter you author in Maestro is a .chapterscript bundle: an open,
documented JSON format, with ChapterPlayer, the open source visionOS
runtime, performing playback. Both are MIT licensed and tool-agnostic. Your stories
are never locked in; Maestro is simply the best way to write them.
Maestro is how it gets made. We're bringing a first circle of storytellers on board ahead of release.
